Hong Kong Public Housing Wait to Fall Below 4 Years

Hong Kong Policy Address (Sep 16, 2026): Composite Waiting Time for Subsidised Rental Housing to reduce to 4.5 years in 2026-27 and to LESS THAN 4 years in 2030-31. 25% of subsidised sale flats completed from 2031/32 to be ≥45 sq m (up from 20%). Next decade mix: 40% public rental / 30% subsidised sale / 30% private.
